1. WHAT ARE COOKIES?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website or use an online application. They are widely used to make websites and applications work efficiently, to provide information to the owners of the site, and to improve the user experience.

Cookies may be set by the website or application you are visiting ("first-party cookies") or by third parties whose services are used by that website or application ("third-party cookies").

Cookies can remain on your device for different periods of time. "Session cookies" exist only while your browser is open and are deleted automatically once you close your browser. "Persistent cookies" survive after your browser is closed and can be used to recognise your device when you next visit.

2. WHAT OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES DO WE USE?

In addition to cookies, we may also use the following similar technologies:

Web beacons (pixel tags): Small, transparent images embedded in web pages or emails that allow us to track whether a page or email has been viewed.

Local storage: Technologies such as HTML5 local storage that allow data to be stored locally on your device.

Session storage: Similar to local storage but data is only retained for the duration of your browser session.

References to "cookies" in this policy include these similar technologies unless otherwise stated.
